Product Details

The Nikon 6320 9x40 Prostaff BDC Scope has what it takes to accommodate almost any hunting style, including enough power for the longest shots and a wide field of view for thick brush and timber. Its main features include a multicoated lens system for up to 90 percent light transmission, a bullet drop compensating (BDC) reticle for easy holdover out to 600 yards (magnum calibers) and precise, repeatable 1/4 MOA reticle adjustments.

The BDC reticle is perhaps the most compelling feature, as its trajectory-compensating system is designed and calibrated to provide fast, simple aiming points for various shot distances.

BDC Information:

Nikon Bullet Dropping Compensation (BDC)
Nikon has announced a new reticle designed to be used in conjunction with its popular laser rangefinders providing hunters with an easy-to-use system for judging proper long-range shot placement on animals.

The new Nikon BDC (Bullet Drop Compensating) is trajectory-compensation with a reticle design and calibrated to provide quick, simple aiming points for various shot distances. The unique system integrates a series of small "ballistic circles"-each subtending 2" @ 100 yards-allowing unimpeded lines of sight to even small targets.

Nikon's BDC is designed to be used with most standard centerfire cartridges with typical bullet weights, providing aiming points up to 500 yards, with a 100-yard sight-in. With Magnum cartridges and typical bullet weights, the same scopes with BDC reticles offer aiming points up to 600 yards, with a 200-yard sight-in.
